Position Objective: The Human Resources Manager - East Branches is responsible for managing all HR functions for multiple branch locations in the eastern US, ensuring consistent implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs. This role partners with branch managers and senior leadership to foster a positive workplace culture, ensure compliance with labor laws, and support talent management initiatives that align with the company's strategic goals. This key role also works collaboratively with corporate HR and other leaders on organizational HR projects, initiatives and support needs. Key Accountabilities: Recruitment & Staffing *Partner with branch managers to assess staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies. *Oversee the hiring process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding. *Ensure branch staffing levels meet operational requirements. Employee Relations & Engagement *Act as a trusted HR advisor to branch leaders and employees. *Resolve employee concerns and workplace conflicts in a timely and fair manner. *Organize and oversee employee engagement programs and recognition initiatives. Training & Development *Identify training needs at each branch and coordinate skill-building programs. *Support leadership development and succession planning. *Monitor compliance training completion. Performance Management *Guide managers through goal-setting, performance appraisals, and coaching processes. *Collaborating with branch leaders, address employee underperformance with appropriate action plans. *Encourage a culture of continuous feedback and improvement. Compliance & Policy Enforcement *Ensure branches comply with individual state and federal labor laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies. *Conduct HR audits and recommend corrective actions where needed. *Stay updated on employment legislation changes and communicate impacts to branch leadership. HR Administration & Reporting *Maintain accurate HR records, including attendance, payroll inputs, and electronic personnel files via AAF's HRIS and payroll systems. *Prepare and present HR metrics and reports to corporate and branch leadership. *Assist employees with benefits and leave management. Position Requirements: This role requires regular travel to eastern branch locations and the flexibility to address HR issues across multiple time zones or shifts. **Travel up to 50%**
