About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Repair Services Technician to join our team at Polar Semiconductor. In this role, you will manage and maintain repairable assets, performing in-house service, testing, and calibration to ensure equipment reliability. Your work will directly support production by diagnosing failures, conducting repairs, and analyzing product failure trends to improve long-term serviceability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify the root cause of equipment malfunctions using diagnostic tools and technical expertise.

  • Perform necessary repairs, including part replacement, system recalibration, and rebuilds.

  • Conduct preventive maintenance to optimize equipment performance.

  • Maintain accurate service records of all repairable assets, including repairs, maintenance activities, and parts usage.

  • Prepare reports to analyze product failure trends and serviceability issues.

  • Create and update documentation for services performed.

  • Collaborate with fab technicians to gather details helpful for diagnostics and repair.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Associate's degree in Automation, Electronics, HVAC, or comparable field.

  • 4+ years of experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance.

  • Strong knowledge and prior use of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

  • Understanding of instrumentation, controls, electrical systems, safety systems, and wiring diagrams.

  • Familiarity with pneumatic systems and schematics.

  • Ability to adapt, organize, and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specifications.

  • Ability to obtain Hazmat certification.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience as a maintenance technician.

  • Experience working with pumps, chillers, or rebuilds.

What We Offer

Salary: $27.00 - $33.00 per hour (good-faith estimate), plus shift differentials where applicable.
