Compensation: $52,000.00 - $65,000.00 (Range applies to US candidates only) + Benefits/Variable Comp/Equity - Range may vary based on experience.

Summary

OneStream Software is looking for an Accountant I - Statutory Reporting to join our Accounting team. The Accountant I - Statutory Reporting plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting core accounting functions for statutory accounting ledgers and financial statements. This role ensures compliance with accounting standards and assists with audit-related tasks such as documentation and responding to inquiries. The position also involves collaborating across teams to ensure proper expense allocation and partnering with internal groups to support billing accuracy and operational improvements as the company grows.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries.
• Record journal entries for routine transactions and adjustments as required.
• Maintain and update monthly bookkeeping records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure strong communication and collaboration with advisors and auditors to support smooth financial operations and maintain positive working relationships.
• Organize and compile documentation required for statutory audits and compilations.
• Assist in responding to advisory and auditor queries and requests.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure expenses are correctly matched to employees and assigned to the appropriate entity.

Required Education and Experience

• Four-year college degree in fields such as (but not limited to) Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Education and Experience

• 1-2 years of accounting experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Intacct or other ERP system.
• Experience with audit, invoicing, and data analysis.
• Intermediate MS Excel skills are required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to effectively communicate internally and externally with various teams, advisors and auditors.
• Strong planning and prioritization skills.
• Demonstrate the ability to remain flexible and adjust to changing priorities as needed.
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills for data mining (with high volume transactions)
• Able to exercise independent judgment and problem-solve.
