Reporting to the Senior Manager of End User Computing Technologies, the IT Systems Analyst-Desktop oversees the design, implementation, and support of desktop infrastructure for the organization. This role supervises a team of desktop support analysts, focusing on service delivery, technical proficiency, and ongoing improvements within end-user computing environments. The position requires technical expertise, leadership abilities, and project management experience.

What you'll do:

The IT Systems Analyst - Desktop serves as the primary point of contact for both live and remote technical support for Atkore users and is responsible for maintaining and supporting all shop floor systems and equipment within the manufacturing environment. Additional key responsibilities include:

• Designing and maintaining comprehensive onboarding and offboarding workflows for the employee lifecycle, encompassing device provisioning and policy enforcement.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for desktop-related escalations and inquiries while communicating effectively with users, vendors, and IT leadership regarding desktop services and performance.
• Administering Microsoft Intune for management of Windows and mobile devices, including Autopilot zero-touch deployments.
• Overseeing the review and interpretation of reports to inform best practices in asset management, improve operational efficiency, and reinforce organizational accountability through thorough investigations of inventory discrepancies, identification of root causes, and implementation of corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Leading or supporting workplace technology initiatives from planning through execution, which involve scope determination, resource coordination, and timeline management.

What you bring:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred (Associate's Degree required)
• 3 - 5 years in end-user computing, IT support, or workplace technology roles
• Experience with Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, Power BI and Windows 11 deployment.
• Familiarity with maintaining documentation for desktop procedures, configurations, and policies.
• Exposure to AI support tools (e.g., virtual agents, Copilot, AI Search).
• Experience leading small teams or mentoring peers.
• Strong project management and vendor coordination skills.
• Excellent documentation and process mapping skills (e.g., Visio).
• An understanding of Key Performance Indicators around deployment
• Technical expertise with leadership and project management

Within 3 months, you'll:

• Complete your new hire "Immersion" so that you are ready to rock in your new role.
• Completed three months of DOTIF reporting for Onboarding PC equipment.
• Have developed relationships with cross functional teams.
• Have gained a high-level understanding of Atkore's PC Landscape and user base.
• Have identified potential training you would need for supporting Atkore specific technology or processes.

Within 6 months, you'll:

• Have developed a deeper understanding of Atkore's environment
• Have developed a good understanding of team KPIs
• Establish Vendor Relationships and evaluations
• Have completed your knowledge sharing sessions with both L1 peers and L2-L3 teammates

Within 12 months, you'll:

• Have worked on almost all different types of issues that get reported to our service desk
• Have carved out a niche area of excellence within the team

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $71,000 - $97,625. Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
