Attractive pay

$18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Responsibilities

As a Payor Change Move Specialist, you will be responsible for performing the payor change process for mid-episode moves (splits and realignments) and for performing SOC moves.

  • Researches and resolves issues related to payor requirements and patient episode details to ensure accurate completion of the change process.
  • Identifies patient accounts identified for move by daily processing of HCHB Workflow Tasks.
  • Communicates with branch staff via Coordination Note to request actions required for the payor change process to be completed.
  • Assists the department in efficient collection of client and payor information to ensure accuracy.
  • Works to reduce write-offs by moving accounts within timely filing requirements of payors.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Post-secondary education or training in business or medical billing/collections.
Preferred
  • Two (2+) years of medical office or home health billing.
