JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a Director, Clinician Contracting to provide overall administrative management and coordination of a DHIP physician contract management, related functions such as contract compliance, negotiations, pay administration, as well as liaising with peers in the Legal and Finance functions.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Heisenberg Implementation: Provide direction for the department in regards to the preparation, monitoring and strategy of physician compensation contracting. This include process improvement and workflow design.
  • Partner with external vendors in implementation and the creation of templates.
  • Direct drafting team in the contract creation and editing process via capacity management, training, and reporting. Lead all major efforts for the drafting team such as the Appointment Letter process and the distribution of the Total Cash Compensation Statement.
  • Maintain liaison with all levels of administration, physicians and outside organizations to coordinate business and accomplish directives. Ensure the department is integrated with other departmental areas within DHIP.
  • Process and project direction. Ensure all processes for implementing compliance directives, Legal decisions and leadership preferences are followed by the contracting team. Ensure the proper resources are in place for all major project efforts. Keep leadership apprised progress on all projects and manage the department's strategic plan.



JOB ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS




  • B.A./B.S. from an accredited institution, preferably in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required.



  • Master's Degree and/or JD preferred.


  • Five years of experience in healthcare or other applicable experience directly related to the department is required.



JOB HOURS

The schedule for this position is day shifts, Monday-Friday, with no weekends or holidays.
