Position Summary The laboratory of Dr. Chia-Wei Cheng, is seeking an experienced and research-oriented Clinical Research Aid. Dr. Cheng's research team studies the metabolic cell-fate determinants of intestinal stem cells in homeostasis and adaptation to diet. Dr. Cheng's laboratory is employing a variety of cross-disciplinary approaches including primarily genetic mouse models and organoid culture system. Current projects investigate the therapeutic potential of nutrient and metabolite signaling in treating cancer, diabetes and age-related degenerative diseases. Reporting to the PI and working under the day-to-day direction of senior lab members, the Clinical Research Aid will help with the proper running of the laboratory and perform analyses related to a wide range of experiments both in a supervised and independent manner.
