Job Description:

Provides clinical guidance and oversight for Allina Health's newly emerging Personalized Prevention Service. Works closely with the System Program Director to develop innovative preventive care approaches that transform how Allina Health delivers proactive health services to the community. Provides clinical care within prevention medicine.

Principle Responsibilities

  • Clinical Leadership
    • Provides clinical leadership and medical expertise for the Personalized Prevention Service.
  • Program Development and Clinical Integration
    • Collaborates with the System Program Director to design evidence-based prevention programs.
    • Develops clinical protocols and best practices for personalized prevention.
    • Engages with physicians and clinical teams across service lines to integrate preventive approaches.
    • Evaluates emerging medical technologies and interventions for inclusion in prevention programs.
    • Serves as a clinical champion and thought leader for preventive medicine within Allina Health.
  • Community Engagement
    • Participates in community outreach and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Provides Clinical Care in Preventive Medicine.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Doctoral/Ph.D. level advanced degree in Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine or foreign equivalent from an approved school of medicine and
  • Completed a residency program as applicable to their clinical specialty
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in designated specialty
  • 5+ years experience in population health, preventive medicine, and wellness approaches including program development or clinical innovation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Leadership experience

Licenses/Certifications

  • Licensed Physician - MN Board of Medical Practice required upon hire
  • Licensed Physician - WI required upon hire
  • Board Certification in specialty that this role is leading required upon hire
  • Drug Enforcement Agency Certificate required upon hire
  • Prescription Monitoring Program required upon hire
  • National Provider Identifier required upon hire
  • PALS - Pediatric Advance Life Support - Multisource required depending on business unit upon hire
  • NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation - Multisource required depending on business unit upon hire

Physical Demands
