Director, Financial Planning & Analysis - (employer: Louis Vuitton North America Inc.; job location: New York, NY) - Set and execute data-driven financial strategies that align with overall company objectives. Support the development and management of the company's annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans. Provide strategic financial analysis and actionable insights to senior management. Drive financial performance management through advanced analytics and KPI monitoring. Partner with business unit leaders to align financial planning with strategic objectives. Lead monthly closing analysis and control to budget/trend, and communicate performance to headquarters. Participate in annual Budget construction/revisions. Lead follow-up on communication expenses, staff costs, leases, and real estate Capex. Conduct detailed financial analysis and provide strategic recommendations to senior management. Oversee the preparation of financial reports, presentations, and analysis for executive leadership. Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Lead quarterly and annual financial performance reviews. Support M&A activities with detailed financial analysis and due diligence. Lead and develop a team of finance professionals to achieve individual and team objectives. Partner with department leaders to drive operational efficiencies and strategic initiatives. Serve as a trusted advisor to senior management on financial strategy and performance. Lead initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in financial planning and reporting. Spearhead the implementation of automation and advanced analytics tools. Drive continuous improvement in data quality, accessibility, and integration. Optimize financial systems and processes to support scalable growth. Requirements: Master’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the position offered or in a related role. All of the required experience must have included experience with: analyzing complex financial data and providing strategic recommendations to senior management; building complex financial models including store performance analysis, real estate strategy evaluation and profitability projections; using financial tools such as SAP, SyRus, or Oracle Hyperion for data analysis and reporting; utilizing knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles); creating and managing budgets, financial models, and forecasts for large-scale operations; strategic plan preparation and presentation; financial planning and analysis for luxury retail real estate projects, including lease negotiations, capital expenditure management, store build-out cost analysis, and ROI evaluation for flagship and high-end retail locations; and managing cross-functional financial teams and driving organizational success.
