Description & Requirements
The NEAR (Next Evolution of Accounting Resourcefulness) team is a centralized support group that enhances productivity across assurance, tax, and consulting. By handling entry-level, repetitive, and lower-risk tasks, they deliver consistent, high-quality work while enabling client-facing teams to focus on more complex and strategic initiatives.
What you will do:
  • Assist with portions of audit, review, and compilation engagements
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks by organizing workflows, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely completion within budget and scope to consistently deliver high-quality outcomes
  • Prepare documentation that meets firm and professional standards, ensuring accuracy and completeness through thorough review.
  • Apply feedback from experienced team members to improve future performance.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management.
  • Develop proficiency in relevant PC applications.
  • Perform or assist with other duties as assigned by NEAR team management.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Completed some college coursework
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree, preferably in Business, Accounting, or a related field
  • 1+ years of relevant experience; examples include audit support, data entry and accuracy, report preparation, and organizing supporting documentation.
