DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will be positioned at a Driver License Center, where you will be essential in providing driver licensing services to the community. Your responsibilities will include greeting customers with professionalism, verifying their identification, assisting them in completing application forms, and entering data into the online driver license application system. You will also distribute relevant forms and informational brochures tailored to each customer's needs. Additionally, you will administer standardized knowledge tests to evaluate applicants' understanding of motor vehicle regulations, driving laws, and traffic control devices, as well as conduct vision screenings using a telebinocular instrument to ensure applicants meet visual acuity standards. You will independently handle inquiries and concerns from the public, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of the services available and the requirements for obtaining both REAL ID and non-REAL ID products. - Full-time employment, 80 hours bi-weekly
- Work hours are 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM, Tuesday - Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Overtime and travel as needed
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience obtaining, evaluating, and providing information to the public.

Legal Requirements:
- This position requires the selected candidate to undergo and pass a Fingerprint and Name-Based Criminal History Check prior to employment.
