Widener University is currently seeking an Assistant Director of Clinical Education in the Institute for Physician Assistant Education in the College of Health and Human Services. This position reports to the Program Director of the Institute for Physician Assistant Education. The Assistant Director of Clinical Education (ADCE) in the Institute for Physician Assistant Education (IPAE) supports the Director of Clinical Education (DCE) in all aspects of the clinical education phase of the Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. This position is a 12-month, full-time administrative role with some teaching responsibilities. Responsibilities include supporting the DCE in the procurement of clinical sites, ; management of student rotation assignments; completion of rotation site visits; and engagement with the Interim Education Weeks. The ADCE assists the DCE in managing clinical instructional faculty who supervise students on clinical rotations and ensures that the clinical portion of the program is in compliance with all accreditation standards.
