Business Analyst 1

As a Business Analyst 1, you will perform moderately complex analytical functions related to the development, modification, and operability of Driver Licensing and Motor Vehicle systems. You will utilize your skill set to develop testing plans and scripts in relation to system enhancements, new projects, legislation, or resolution of defects to ensure business needs are met and systems are functioning properly. You will also perform a variety of analytical duties associated with the support and maintenance of the adaptation to electronic data processing methods for a wide-range of applications. Within this role, you will research reported system problems through onsite analysis of abnormal processing conditions and determine improved business processes or workarounds to enable processing functions. You will be further responsible for documenting issues or new needs in the tracking systems, providing updates to the entries as needed, and tracking entries through to completion.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Irregular hours, including some weekends, may be required for release support and issue resolution.
• Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, upon successful performance evaluation and completion of the training period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
