Overview
The Software Quality Assurance Analyst II will be an integral part of our Quality Assurance team, contributing to the overall quality and reliability of our software products. Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and testing expertise will help us identify and address issues early in the development process, ensuring a seamless user experience for our customers. They will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the Quality Assurance (QA) practice within the department, including conducting end-to-end testing, maintaining project testing requirements and artifacts, and developing and executing test scripts. This individual contributor works with the team to develop a testing strategy/plan, and ensures that the QA practice meets business, technical, functional, security, and performance requirements through the software development life cycle (SDLC).
Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and execute testing strategy, plans, and scripts for all assigned products based on stated requirements and specifications.
- Execute manual and automated test cases to verify the functionality and performance of software applications.
- Create and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and specifications.
- Conduct with unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Supports Go Live activities via thorough testing, resulting in successful product releases.
- Defines and tracks software quality assurance metrics such as defects, severity, status, and remediation using approved testing solutions.
- Provides analysis and recommendations against test executions and test results.
- Documents and reports test results for functional areas of responsibility.
- Communicates daily with internal Logix teams and stakeholders to coordinate tests and provide regular status updates.
- May be called upon to maintain source code change history (using Software Version Control) and enforce adherence to established processes and standards.
- Supports the project teams by focusing on solving problems, implementing solutions, and by providing guidance to business units and team members.
- Work within their team and have a direct impact on their tasks.
Qualifications
Education
- Min/Preferred: Preferred
- Education Level: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree
- Description: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, MIS, Engineering or related field preferred.
Experience
- Minimum Years of Experience: 2
- Preferred Years of Experience: 4
- Comments:
- 2-4 years of progressive experience in software testing.
- 2-4 years web application and native mobile app (iOS and Android) testing experience or software quality engineering experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Ability
- Demonstrated ability to analyze requirements, develop a test plan, develop a test strategy, create, and execute test cases, track defects and report results.
- Previous experience in enterprise scale testing standards.
- Working knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile Development concepts.
- Ability to gather and organize data, develop testing strategy, and to analyze, interpret, and formulate sound conclusions and recommendations.
- Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team-oriented environment using sound judgement in decision making.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication with strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Organized and detail oriented, able to effectively perform multiple/concurrent tasks within deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- SQL testing, representational state transfer application programming interface (REST API), and continuous deployment experience preferred.
- Financial or Banking background preferred.
- Previous experience with automated testing preferred.
- Use existing tools/processes to solve tasks/issues assigned to them.

Pay Range
USD $68,676.00 - USD $103,014.00 /Yr.
