*Location:* Exton, PA 19341 *Employment Type:* 6-Month Contract (Potential for Extension or Permanent Hire) *Workplace Type:* Hybrid - 3 Days On-Site | 2 Days Work from Home *About the Role* TEKsystems is seeking a highly skilled *Network Engineer* to support our end client's growing infrastructure team. This expert-level role focuses on core networking and cloud infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on Cisco technologies, Palo Alto firewalls, and Azure networking components. You'll be responsible for maintaining and upgrading infrastructure, implementing new architecture, and supporting cloud initiatives in Azure (and potentially AWS). This is a hands-on engineering role with opportunities to lead projects, automate tasks, and contribute to a collaborative and innovative team environment. *Key Responsibilities* * Administer and support LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and Gateway/Firewall infrastructure. * Monitor and maintain networking systems and automate repetitive tasks using scripting (PowerShell preferred). * Implement and support Azure networking technologies: Site-to-Site VPNs, VNets, Cloud Gateways, Azure Firewalls, and RBAC. * Collaborate with the Infrastructure Team on new projects and architecture upgrades. * Ensure documentation, configuration control, and uniformity across systems. * Potential involvement in AWS networking projects based on future needs. * Present and plan projects, troubleshoot across the OSI model, and support data center operations. *Required Skills & Experience* * *Networking Expertise:* 2-5 years of hands-on experience with Cisco (Nexus/Meraki), dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and VPN technologies. * *Firewall & Gateway Management:* Strong experience with Palo Alto firewalls and application gateways. * *Cloud Networking:* 2-5 years of Azure networking experience (Site-to-Site VPNs, VNets, Firewalls, etc.). * *Scripting & Automation:* Proficiency in PowerShell or similar scripting tools. * *Data Center Experience:* Comfortable working with physical equipment and cabling. * *Documentation & Communication:* Ability to document work clearly and present technical solutions effectively. * *Education:* Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or equivalent. * *Soft Skills:* Motivated, energetic, team-oriented, and capable of working independently. *Why Join Us?* * Be part of a *growing company* with a strong team culture. * Opportunity to work on *cutting-edge cloud and infrastructure projects*. * Potential for *permanent placement* based on performance. * Hybrid work environment offering flexibility and collaboration. *Interview Process* * Initial interview via Microsoft Teams * Final round onsite at Exton, PA *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00/hr.
