Vice President, Global Industrials – (job location is New York, NY; employer is Jefferies LLC) – Perform financial analysis and modeling, including variation and statistical analysis, to consummate transactions. Review financial valuation models, including comparable company analyses, precedent transaction analyses, discounted cash flow, leveraged buyout analyses, and merger plans. Create pitchbooks and live deal materials, including client presentations, offering memorandums, confidential information presentations (CIPs), management presentations, and lender presentations. Perform due diligence on potential investments. Develop client relationships and assist Managing Directors with deal origination efforts. Create project timelines and work plans. Train junior employees on modeling, deal processes, and performance standards. Participate in marketing and new business development presentations. Requirements: Master’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the position offered or in a related role OR Bachelor’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the position offered or in a related role. All of the required experience must have included experience with: executing both sell-side and buy-side M&A (including cross-border and domestic, public and private), restructuring, secondary capital advisory and equity and debt financing transactions; preparing Investment Banking client presentations and pitches, including client presentations, offering memorandums, confidential information memoranda, management presentations, lender presentations, prospectuses, proposals, engagement letters and term sheets utilizing Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; performing financial valuation analysis and building complex financial models, including forecasting, sum of the parts, leveraged buyout, initial public offering and merger analysis; analyzing corporate and investment finance information; executing Investment Banking financial advisory and financing transactions without oversight from Managing Directors; preparing, analyzing and explaining historical and projected financial information; and analyzing financial statements and financial models.
