Investment Banking Vice President – (job location is New York, NY; employer is Jefferies LLC) – Perform financial valuation, discounted cash flow, leveraged buyout, pro forma merger, precedent transaction, and comparable companies’ analyses. Analyze corporate and financial information. Build financial operating and valuation models. Participate in the execution of equity and debt financings, M&A, and restructuring and recapitalization transactions. Conduct due diligence. Conduct financial research of the healthcare industry. Prepare pitch books and live deal materials, including offering memoranda, confidential information memoranda, management presentations, lender presentations, and prospectuses. Collaborate with product partners such as bankers in our Equity Capital Markets, Leveraged Finance, Private Capital Advisory, and Restructuring teams, by developing and executing solutions to meet client needs. Attend and participate in meetings with clients’ senior executive management teams. Build and maintain client relationships. Requirements: Master’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the position offered or in a related role OR Bachelor’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the position offered or in a related role. All of the required experience must have included experience with: performing financial valuation analysis; analyzing financial operating models; performing company-positioning analysis; participating in sell- and buy-side M&A processes; working with FactSet or CapitalIQ; using Thompson Reuters; using Bloomberg Terminal; and using MergerMarket.
