Vice President

Vice President – (job location is New York, NY; employer is Jefferies LLC) – Build and maintain financial models, analyze data points, and ensure correct and up-to-date information for research reports that are distributed to internal/external clients. Review business and trade publications, annual reports, financial filings, and other sources in order to gather, synthesize, and interpret data on companies.  Write detailed reports, including earnings reports, company reports, monthly/weekly publications, and initiation reports. Communicate stock recommendations to stakeholders. Create marketing materials for clients. Meet with management teams of companies. Attend industry conferences. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the position offered or in a related role OR eight (8) years of experience in the position offered or in a related role. All of the required experience must have included experience with: creating and maintaining financial models; applying linear regression methods to forecast and assess global banking credit trends; researching stock performance of financial institutions; and automating data processes using Excel, VBA, and power query/BI tools.
