Senior Vice President

Senior Vice President – (job location is New York, NY; employer is Jefferies LLC) – Perform financial analysis, including variation and statistical analysis, to consummate transactions in accordance with the rules and procedures of domestic and international institutions. Perform due diligence and participate in M&A process workstream discussions with client and buyers. Develop client relationships and assist Managing Directors with deal origination efforts. Draft term sheets, engagement letters, and fee proposals for new M&A transactions. Train junior employees on modeling, deal processes, and performance standards. Create project timelines and work plans. Lead marketing and new business development presentations. Requirements: Master’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field and six (6) years of experience in the position offered or in a related role OR Bachelor’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field and eight (8) years of experience in the position offered or in a related role. All of the required experience must have included experience with: performing company-positioning analyses; performing financial valuation analysis; analyzing financial operating models; working with FactSet or CapitalIQ; using Thompson Reuters; using Bloomberg Terminal; using MergerMarket; and participating in sell- and buy-side M&A processes.
