Now, we're entering a new phase of growth and are looking for a Master Scheduler to play a critical role in ensuring the successful planning and execution of our technical programs.


What You'll Do


  • Develop, implement, and maintain detailed program and project schedules in Microsoft Project, ensuring accuracy and traceability.
  • Partner closely with Technical Program Managers to translate program objectives, requirements, and deliverables into executable schedules.
  • Working with the Technical PM coordinate with engineering, supply chain, and production operations to capture all scope and dependencies in program plans.
  • Monitor project performance against baselines, variances, and provide opportunities for schedule optimization to Technical PM.
  • Create a PDW master schedule for all development and R&D programs that highlights overlap between departments, resources and other critical KPIs.
  • Prepare and present schedule metrics, dashboards, and earned value data to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
  • The ability to run, what-if analyses and scenario planning to support program decisions. Support Technical PM in proposal development by creating preliminary schedules, resource forecasts, and integration plans.
  • Drive continuous improvement in scheduling tools, processes, and best practices across the Technical Programs department.


Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 10+ years of experience in program scheduling, with a strong background in R&D and new product development programs.
  • Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Project (including advanced scheduling, dependencies, resource leveling, and reporting).
  • Proven track record of developing and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for complex technical or defense programs.
  • Strong knowledge of the NPI, program management processes, phase-gate development and electrical PCBA & mechanical part development process.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross domain teams such as engineering, operations, and leadership teams
  • Strong communication skills, with experience presenting schedule status to executives and stakeholders.

Preferred


  • Experience with unmanned systems, aerospace, or defense programs.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Project and Jira.
  • Familiarity with Agile development processes and tools.


Physical Requirements
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.


  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, climb, and move about regularly throughout the day.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be capable of working in both office and manufacturing environments, occasionally visiting test sites or customer facilities.
  • May require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) depending on the environment.

Work Environment
This position operates primarily in a professional office environment with occasional work in a manufacturing setting. It requires the use of standard office equipment and systems. This role involves cross-departmental collaboration and both independent and team-based responsibilities. Standard work hours for this position are 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime or off-hour work as business needs arise.
