Analyzes, interprets and finds patterns in key business data. Communicates findings to provide insights and recommendations for improving business performance and to support leaders in their decision making.

Job Description:

Essential Functions:
  • Mines and analyzes complex organizational data sets to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.
  • Collaborates with business stakeholders to identify and analyze business requirements.
  • Designs and implements data models and processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources. Develops and maintains business intelligence solutions to support the organization's decision-making processes.
  • Creates and maintains reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate insights and trends. Prepares reports and conducts effective presentations of findings to diverse audiences.
  • Provides training and support to others to ensure effective use of business intelligence reports, tools and solutions.
  • Researches latest trends in business intelligence technologies and selects appropriate BI tools, features, and techniques.
  • Identifies and recommends process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of data collection and analysis.

Education Requirement:
  • Bachelor's degree in statistics, actuary, health informatics, required.
  • Masters, MBA, MHA or similar field, preferred.

Skills:

Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills necessary to present and communicate important information effectively to all levels of hospital staff.


Experience:
  • 3years of experience in health care data analysis, required.
  • Experience with relational databases, SQL, SSMS, SSIS, Qlik Sense, Crystal Reports, PowerBI, Tableau or Apex, required.
