We have an immediate need for a Refining Process Specialist/Manager with process chemical experience in the Water Treatment industry located in Houston or Gulf Coast area. This person will be responsible for supporting Heavy Industries in the Americas and participate as a global SDT Member. Dedicated to innovation and sustainability, working closely with the Heavy Team and their customers to develop and implement chemical treatment solutions.

Territory/Location Information: This position is based out of a home office.

Remote role

Travel: 50 to 75% within territory (minimal overnight travel)

Comp: $150,000 to $190,000 plus bonus.

Responsible for supporting Heavy Industries in the Americas. Dedicated to innovation and sustainability, working closely with the Heavy Team and their customers to develop and implement chemical treatment solutions.



Responsibilities

    Consultant and advisor to the field and their customers
  • Auditing processes for safety and performance
  • Have expert level understanding of demulsification, corrosion control, fouling control, water treatment and finished fuel additives.
  • Interpreting technical data and service reports to identify improvement opportunities


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Chemistry
  • 15 plus years in the Refinery Experience specific to chemical sales/services
  • Valid Drivers License and willingness to travel
  • Valid TWIC Card and can pass a refinery DISA Drug/Alcohol Test
  • Clean shaven for most customers
  • Position requires substantial physical activities like walking, climbing and vessel inspections.
