Physician Diagnostic - Interventional Radiologist Providence VA Medical Center Providence, Rhode Island Recruitment and Relocation Incentive Interventional radiology: No call. Diagnostic radiology: Back-up support for teleradiology, currently a one-in-five rotation. The Providence VA is seeking a full-time Board Certified or Board Eligible Diagnostic and Interventional Radiologist (DR/IR). Join a team dedicated to excellence, collaboration, innovation, job satisfaction, work-life balance, and service. * Meaningful work: Contribute to the health and well-being of U.S. Veterans * Telework approved and flexible work schedules * Faculty appointment at Brown University School of Medicine * Interpret Radiography, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and nuclear medicine studies * Perform basic and advanced image-guided procedures during weekday hours - no nights, weekends, or holidays * Preferred Experience: o Board-eligible or board-certified in Diagnostic Radiology and current with MOC o ACGME DR/IR certified or o IR fellowship-trained diagnostic and interventional radiologist. Basic Requirements: * United States Citizenship: Non-Citizens are encouraged to apply and may be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. * Degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in Allopathic Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine. The degree must have been obtained from one of the schools pproved by the Department of Veterans Affairs for the year in which the course of study was completed. * Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia. * Residency Training: Physicians must have completed residency training, approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification. * Proficiency in spoken and written English.
