JOB SUMMARY The Cook I reports directly to the Food Services Manager and is responsible for preparing high-quality, nutritious meals for the facility in accordance with all contractual obligations, State and local health department regulations, and established food safety standards. This role requires strict adherence to dietary and nutritional guidelines to meet the diverse needs of residents, including special diets and allergy considerations. The Cook I ensures proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices are followed at all times, maintains a clean and organized kitchen environment, and contributes to menu planning and inventory management. Collaboration with the Food Services Manager and other team members is essential to support a positive dining experience and uphold the facility's commitment to health and wellness.
