Work Schedule: M-F 8am - 5pm, N o travel required

Day to Day

Team Supported: Plant operations, working closely with operators, technicians, and management.

Primary Goals: Keep systems running reliably, modernize outdated equipment, and optimize efficiency.

Typical Day (Clock-in to Clock-out):

  • Troubleshoot and resolve malfunctions in machine control systems.
  • Program and modify Siemens PLCs and HMIs (must be able to write from scratch, not just edit).
  • Create/maintain electrical schematics (AutoCAD).
  • Support commissioning of new/updated systems.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on continuous improvement initiatives.



Must Have

  1. Siemens PLC programming (from scratch) - ladder logic required.
  2. Troubleshooting & repair of machine control systems in a manufacturing environment.
  3. HMI programming experience.
  4. Electrical CAD proficiency (AutoCAD schematic drafting).
  5. Knowledge of AC/DC circuitry & field devices (motors, relays, switches, photoeyes, etc.).
  6. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related - Associates not accepted).
  7. 3+ years of hands-on experience in relevant manufacturing settings.
  8. Manufacturing environments strongly preferred; Rod Mill or Foundry experience is a plus.
