Description

Purpose:

The Line Service Supervisor is the go to person to achieve excellent line services when flying into our FBO. You will be required to interact with various levels of customers and corporations, providing them safe and professional services. Line Service Technicians, as well as Customer Service Representatives will be looking to you to oversee and assist in providing any services and amenities our customers require.

Requirements:



  • Work Schedule 6:00am-3:00pm, unless otherwise determined by FBO Manager
  • Lead LSTs by example, acting on behalf of the company and providing a productive and motivating working environment
  • Supervise and assist LSTs in their duties and responsibilities
  • Lead line staff in maintaining FBO, flightline, and hangar organization GSE storage, aircraft arrangement, etc.; identify problems and determine best solutions
  • Fill in for LSTs as required
  • Train, coach, evaluate and develop LSTs in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Hold LSTs accountable for duties, responsibilities, and compliance with policies and procedures
  • Manage LST work schedules and communicate to LSTs and FBO Manager
  • Conduct LST performance reviews and conduct disciplinary actions
  • Assist in hiring process for LST positions
  • Organize periodic line staff or departmental meetings
  • Perform and assist with all fuel quality control test and procedures
  • Assist with all Refueler/GSE/Fuel Farm repairs and maintenance
  • Assist with LST payroll and time approvals
  • Maintain a professional appearance and manner with all customers and employees
  • Familiarize with customer invoicing software and sales transactions
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships, encourage upselling fuel, services and amenities
  • Understand company values, policies, and procedures
  • Keep record of customer interaction and details of actions taken
  • Ability to maintain patience and calm under pressure
  • Advocate for their team and build a spirit of trust
  • Build communication skills to share visions and goals with team
  • Practice active listening and employ emotional intelligence to provide effective and efficient responses to customer or employee needs
  • Other duties as assigned by the FBO Manager


Qualifications

Required:



  • Valid drivers license
  • Previous line service experience
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Flexible work schedule that may include overtime, nights, weekends, holidays and be on call


Preferred:



  • Previous customer service experience
  • Previous supervisor/management experience
  • Must possess computer knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel


Physical/Environmental Requirements:



  • Must be able to lift 75lbs
  • Must have high situational awareness
  • Must be able to work outside in inclement weather
