Location: Must be based in Las Vegas, Nevada - Hybrid About the Role As the Manager, Sportsbook Trading you organize, plan and trade events across the US Sports Desk, managing prices, managing schedules and giving Trader feedback in order to drive performance, with direct involvement across a number of key US Sports (Football, Basketball, Hockey and Baseball) as well as indirect involvement on all other in-play events offered on BetMGM Digital labels and in Retail properties. The role coaches, supports and leads by example to create a high trust, cohesive culture with both process-led orientation and strong situational awareness for good judgement decisions to be made. Managers embed strong capabilities and practices by sharing knowledge and experiences with traders in sports betting theory, systems and processes. Monitoring high volume low latency transactions and making commercial decisions regarding incoming bets within policy delegations to manage risk and market liabilities. Managers ensure standardized procedures are understood by other traders to perform their roles and comply with regulatory and other obligations. This supports BetMGM Trading Leadership deliver on its commercial strategy for the business. Essential Functions
Supervise a team of Sports Traders, to include but not limited to:performance management, scheduling, and assigning and reviewing the quality of work
Create innovative, attractive, localized (or personalized) specials and promotional offers, (including odds boosts) to drive desirable customer behavior.
Recommend appropriate actions, including but not limited to good will gestures from time to time, as reasonable steps to address customer queries, claims and disputes.
Support customer, product, content, social media, PR and marketing initiatives
Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years experience in the industry, along with some management experience High level of interest and knowledge in the major US Sports Highly numerate and able to perform in a fast-paced environment, remaining focused and able to deliver high quality work when under pressure. Strong communication skills Reliable and willing to be flexible with working hours, including evenings and weekends, dependent on business needs Self-motivated to meet deadlines when working on on-going projects Positive attitude and willing to support where needed. Ability to obtain necessary state licenses
The annual salary range for this position is $100000 to $115000. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for participation in a performance-based bonus plan. Gaming Compliance & Licensing Requirements As an online gaming company, BetMGM is required to comply with state gaming regulations which includes licensing obligations. Applicable employees must be licensed by at least one jurisdictional agency, although certain positions require licensing by multiple agencies. Failure to become licensed or maintain licensure with each agency as required for the role may result in termination of employment. Please note that the licensing process includes comprehensive background checks which may include a review of criminal records, financial history, and personal background verification.

Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
