Job Overview

Join our team as anAccount Manager - Hard Rock Undergroundat Komatsu. In this role, you will provide leadership and effective communication to the Komatsu Management Team, collaborating closely with our Komatsu Mining Representatives. Your focus will be on ensuring strong, multidirectional communication, fostering high levels of customer satisfaction through our dedicated personnel, robust equipment fleet, and efficient processes that drive the success of our operations.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Provide Overall Leadership and Account Manager Oversight (this role is the face of Komatsu to the customer)
  • Responsible for coordinating with the local branch in all aspects related to the customer account i.e, scheduling technicians, engage in Work in Process and Accounts Receivable activities to assist in proper communications between the customer and the region.
  • Full ownership of customer relationship.
  • Provides reports, research and documentation to both customers and regional teams to drive improvement and provide solutions.
  • Possesses organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Drive market share growth with the expanded Komatsu Hardrock Underground product line in assigned territory.
  • Responsible for follow-up of all customer account issues including accounts receivable, product support, rental and sales.
  • Properly schedule and provide leadership at customer meetings.
  • Participate in various customer and community events.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes in the mining sector to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or combination of industry/educational experience of 10 years, with preferences of a degree in business or mining and experience in underground mining.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment typical of the mining sector.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly in addressing challenges specific to mining operations.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of mining equipment, processes, and safety regulations.
  • Experience with mining software and technologies is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
