Intern Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Finance & Accounting Intern to support our finance team. This internship provides hands-on experience in financial reporting, budgeting, account reconciliation, and data analysis. The ideal candidate is pursuing a degree in finance or accounting and is eager to apply classroom knowledge in a professional setting.

Essential Duties:



  • Assist with preparing financial reports, statements, and documentation.
  • Support month-end and quarter-end closing processes.
  • Help reconcile bank statements, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Analyze financial data and trends to support decision-making.
  • Assist with audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
  • Maintain organized records and assist with data entry and file management.
  • Collaborate with team members on special projects and process improvements.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to commit to a 40 hour work week during the 10 week internship


Required Education and Experience



  • Currently enrolled and pursuing a degree in a related area of business
  • Sophomore classification or higher
  • Cumulative GPA 3.0 or better
  • A minimum of one year work experience
  • Or equivalent military experience.
