SVP, Strategic Planning Director – (job location is New York, NY; employer IPG Health, LLC d/b/a Mosaic Group - Manage client accounts from medical/pharmaceutical point of view, including leading the development of pharmaceutical market access brand strategy, competitive intelligence, and brand planning and mentoring junior staff. Collaborate with agency/network leadership, lead strategy development for new business pitches, and drive key strategic initiatives for organic growth opportunities. Lead market research insights gathering, including workshops, interviews and ad-board/focus groups and translate insights into actionable market access marketing strategies. Oversee market access creative content development, including payer/population health value communication and HCP/patient access and reimbursement (including patient support services) pharmaceutical marketing materials. Requirements: PharmD, MD, or PhD in biology-related field, plus 2 years of experience in position offered or a Strategic Planning or Strategic Partner position in a healthcare advertising agency. All required experience must have included: managing client accounts/brands from medical/pharmaceutical point of view for Fortune 500/Global Fortune 500 pharmaceutical companies; leading pharmaceutical market access brand strategy development on existing brands and new business pitches, including competitive intelligence, insight mining, and brand planning; overseeing market access creative content development, including payer/population health, and access and reimbursement resources; conducting market research including (i) developing workshops or moderating ad-board/focus groups, (ii) drafting discussion guides and surveys, and (iii) interviewing payer and health system formulary decision-makers; analyzing managed market dynamics and their applicability to pharma brands, globally and the US (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial/private health insurance); and integrating health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) data into client deliverables. Must be willing to travel domestically approximately 5-10% of time for client meetings and industry conference(s). #LI-DNI. This role entails hybrid work, with time split between working in our New York City office and flexibility to telecommute from another U.S. location. Salary: $220,000-$270,000/year.
