The mission of the team is to enable Macquarie to operate safely within a challenging digital environment by detecting, investigating and responding to advanced cyber threats. In this crucial role, you will be instrumental in enhancing our team's capabilities to detect, investigate and contain cyber threats. Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibility Cyber Threat and Incident Response is made up of functional teams including cyber threat defence analysts, cyber threat intelligence analysts, detection engineers and incident responders, among others. You will play a critical role in managing platforms and pipelines that support the mission of Cyber Threat and Incident Response. Your role will include designing, developing, and maintaining tools and services that ensure security telemetry is high quality and fit-for-purpose as well as closely working with threat detection engineers, incident respondents, and threat intelligence analysts to ensure the data is received and meets their evolving security needs. You will work across a diverse set of data sources and collaborate with technical subject matter experts to integrate data into our analytics platforms. What you offer Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibility 5-10 years experience developing, integrating, configuring, and managing SIEM or UEBA platforms. This includes monitoring and addressing system performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverability challenges Experience developing and deploying infrastructure-as-code solutions to automate operational tasks and improve platform reliability Experience building and maintain CI/CD pipelines that integrate security controls and support continuous delivery of detection and response capabilities and with scripting/programming languages such Python Ability to plan and deliver to challenging timelines, managing stakeholder expectations in the process (experience working in an Agile environment desirable) Excellent listening and influencing skills, and flexibility to develop strong relationships with a complex set of global stakeholders (from working with detection engineers to tune alerts and develop use cases, to managing vendors) We love hearing from anyone inspired to build a better future with us, if you're excited about the role or working at Macquarie we encourage you to apply.
