Summary: PeoplesBank is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Solutions Analyst to join our innovative IT team. In this pivotal role, you'll design, develop, and optimize business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, and other Microsoft 365 tools. You'll collaborate closely with business units to understand their needs, streamline workflows, and deliver secure, scalable, and user-friendly applications that drive operational efficiency across the bank. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: System Administration & Support:
- Design, build and maintain applications using Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Develop and manage SharePoint sites, lists, libraries and workflows to support business processes.
- Integrate Microsoft 365 tools (e.g., Teams, Outlook, Excel) into cohesive business solutions.
- Ensure solutions are secure, compliant and aligned with IT governance policies.
- Monitor and evaluate system performance and configure changes and upgrades as needed to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Manage user access, roles and security configurations.
Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering:
- Collaborate with business units to gather and document system requirements.
- Operate closely with all internal stakeholders to prepare solutions to meet growing data needs, including new enhancements and improvements as well as creating and adjusting written policies and procedures.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and technical solutions.
- Conduct gap analysis and recommend system improvements.
- Provide training and documentation to end-users and support teams.
Project Management & Implementation:
- Manage relationships and workload with offsite developer(s), track system changes to achieve business goals, eliminate security risks, increase user satisfaction and maintain operations and third-party systems.
- Lead or support the implementation of system upgrades, patches and new modules.
- Coordinate with vendors, internal teams and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Conduct system testing, validation and user training.
Documentation & Compliance:
- Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, workflows and procedures.
- Conduct quality assurance audits of reports containing financial data assuring company standards are maintained and data integrity is preserved.
- Ensure compliance with IT governance, security policies and regulatory standards.
Other related duties as assigned. Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in business administration, finance or data/information sciences.
- Minimum of five years' relevant experience in system analysis or administration preferably within a banking or financial services environment
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Skills Required:
- Familiarity with API's, data mapping and ETL processes.
- Understanding of ITIL practices and change management processes.
- Excellent problem solving, communication and project management skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to articulate effectively in forums and meetings with technical and non-technical teams.
- Ability to provide clear and concise project documentation to various stakeholders.
- Strong time management skills, proficiency in prioritizing, scheduling and managing multiple project schedules and different levels of criticality.
- Motivated to improve, with a passion to self-educate and keep up to date on the latest data and analytics trends in marketing, banking and other fields.
- Working knowledge of retail and business banking business concepts.
Computer/Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Power Automate (Flow creation and management) and SharePoint Online (Site design, permissions, workflows)
- Experience integrating and using MS Teams, OneDrive and other M365 collaboration tools.
- General knowledge of SQL, scripting and system integration tools
