Summary:

PeoplesBank is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Software Solutions Associate to join our dynamic IT team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys solving problems, learning new technologies, and improving business processes. You'll play a key role in supporting and administering a variety of enterprise applications-including Smartsheet, SurveyMonkey, Identifi, and DocuSign-used across the organization. From system configuration and user support to process automation and project coordination, this position offers a unique opportunity to grow your skills in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment. This opportunity is a hybrid work model, based in Holyoke, MA, offering flexibility while maintaining strong team and business engagement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

System Administration & Support:

    • Assist in the configuration, maintenance, and user support of Smartsheet, SurveyMonkey, Identifi, DocuSign, and other business tools.
    • Monitor system usage and performance and help troubleshoot issues.
    • Manage user access, permissions, and basic system settings.

Process Improvement & Automation

  • Help identify opportunities to streamline workflows and automate manual tasks.
  • Support the creation of templates, forms, reports, and dashboards.
  • Document processes and contribute to user guides and training materials.

Project Management & Implementation:

    • Manage relationships and workload with offsite developer(s), track system changes to achieve business goals, eliminate security risks, increase user satisfaction and maintain operations and 3rd party systems.
    • Lead or support the implementation of system upgrades, patches and new modules.
    • Coordinate with vendors, internal teams, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of projects.
    • Conduct system testing, validation, and user training.

Integration & Data Management:

    • Support integration of enterprise applications with third-party applications (e.g., digital banking, CRM, fraud detection).
    • Participate in team projects with outside departments to provide data-focused assistance to achieve bank objectives.
    • Ensure data integrity, consistency and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Documentation & Compliance:

    • Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, workflows and procedures.
    • Conduct quality assurance audits of reports containing financial data assuring company standards are maintained and data integrity is preserved.
    • Ensure compliance with IT governance, security policies and regulatory standards.

Other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business administration, finance or data/information sciences.
    • Minimum of two years' relevant experience in system analysis or administration preferably within a banking or financial services environment
    • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Skills Required:

  • Demonstrated interest in technology and problem-solving.
  • Understanding of ITIL practices and change management processes.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and associates.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to articulate effectively in forums and meetings with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Ability to provide clear and concise project documentation to various stakeholders.
  • Strong time management skills, proficiency in prioritizing, scheduling and managing multiple project schedules and different levels of criticality.
  • Passion to self-educate and keep up to date on the latest data and analytics trends in marketing, banking and other fields.
  • Excellent attention to detail, data accuracy and quality of output. Proactively seeks opportunities to serve in leadership roles while serving as a role model.

Computer/Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in MS Office 365, Banking Core processing & General Ledger systems
  • General knowledge of SQL, scripting and system integration tools
  • Exposure to low-code/no-code platforms or workflow automation tools
  • Basic familiarity with cloud-based tools like Smartsheet, SurveyMonkey, or DocuSign is a plus.
