We're looking to hire a talented Quality Coordinator based in Hanover, PA. Reporting to the Tested Order Manager, the Quality Coordinator supports the daily operations of the Quality team by ensuring compliance with quality management systems, maintaining documentation, coordinating testing and/or audits and facilitating communication across departments. This role helps drive continuous improvement by supporting quality initiatives, monitoring performance metrics, and assisting with corrective/preventive actions. This newly-created position will be responsible for coordinating and prioritizing the internal testing schedule to meet order fulfillment timelines. The incumbent position will serve as a liaison among the Factory, Sales and Customer Service, and proactively escalate concerns to the appropriate level of management. Primary Duties * Follows and supports all Plant Safety programs and adheres to all safety policies. * Coordinates and maintains quality system documentation, records and databases. * Monitors the Quality department KPI's for Tested orders including OTS and Past Due. * Tracks and reports on quality metrics, including nonconformances, CAPAs, and customer complaints. * Assists in developing and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions. * Supports training initiatives by maintaining training records and coordinating quality-related sessions. * Collaborates with production, engineering, supply chain and other departments to ensure quality standards are met. * Manages document control processes to ensure timely updates, distribution and compliance. * Provides administrative and coordination support for continuous improvement projects.Maximizes and maintains a tested order schedule that syncs customer demand and the production schedule to the testing process. * Works closely with the Quality Supervisor(s) to manage material releases. * Actively leads communication with Sales and Customer Service on tested order status and completion timelines. * Coordinates agency testing through the lab to ensure compliance and maintain production testing. * Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions * Works with Operations and Planning to bring timely resolution to material issues. * Advises management on the status of work in progress and potential disruptions to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are provided on-time and at an optimal cost. * Participates in site kaizen events and or assists with projects as needed. Qualifications * Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred; may consider equivalent relevant experience in lieu of degree. * 2+ years of experience in a quality, compliance or administrative coordination role. * Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949, FDA, or equivalent) a plus. * Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail required. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality-related software tools required. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal required. * Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment required. * Formal Lean and/or Six Sigma training preferred * ERP experience preferred (SAP experience ideal) * Strong planning, decision-making and problem solving skills required. * Exceptional organizational and time-management skills required. * Ability to work overtime as needed. Working Conditions * Remains in a stationary position up to 50% of the time and involves additional physical demands such as ascending/descending stairs, walking stooping and standing. The other portion of time this position is required to move from Factory to Office, several times a day. * Must wear Personal Protective Equipment 'PPE' when working/visiting manufacturing and plant locations. * Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery including but not limited to printer, tablets, cell phones. * Moves transports, puts, or removes equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
