Essential Functions and Primary Duties

  • Responsible for semi- monthly payroll filings
  • Prepare monthly financials
  • Process CCIP approvals
  • Responsible for monthly bill approvals
  • Prepare budgets, 5-year preparations and answer questions relating to planning
  • Prepare board meeting presentations
  • Responsible for audit oversight
  • Lead period H projects
  • Lead monthly sponsor review calls
  • Review financials for submission / assist Treasurer
  • Prepare 5-year, budget lead and mentor
  • Act as 1099 team lead and approver, including reviewing and submitting
  • Act as 990 team lead, including pulling documentation
  • Responsible for 9/30 reporting
  • Responsible for CCIP PCR and FER processing
  • Acts as client liaison

Additional Responsibilities

  • Train new employees
  • Attend departmental, firm, and mentoring meetings
  • Complete CCIP audits and reviews as needed
  • Complete FERs for clients as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-year supervisory experience preferred
  • Ability to keep up to date with industry trends and technology developments
  • Treasurers license or the ability to obtain one in 6 months
  • 5 or more years of experience in an accounting position
  • Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping terminology and practices
  • Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects/tasks simultaneously in a deadline driven environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve the goals of the organization
  • Ability to analyze the processes responsible for, recommend efficiencies to the process and implement the improved changes
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
  • Excellent verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Achieve professional certifications relative to area of expertise, must have and preserve required licenses
  • Must possess analytical skills
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
  • Must be able to travel based on client and business needs
