Assistant Water Department Manager
Job Description Dewberry has an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Water Department Manager with 15 plus years of experience to lead a team of water resources engineers. The ideal candidate should have people management skills along with proven technical expertise in water resources engineering, proposal development, marketing and business development in New York City metropolitan area. The candidate will serve as Senior Project Manager and/or Contract Manager on complex planning, engineering, and construction of stormwater infrastructure and large-scale flood resilience related projects primarily in New York area. The Assistant Water Department Manager will support the Water Department Manager in the overall growth of NYC's water group along with leading proposals, business development, present at conferences, participate in professional organizations, and will have the opportunity to grow nationally. The Assistant Water Department Manager will be involved in developing and leading a team of engineers to execute various projects within New York area and will play a critical role to support Dewberry's National Flood Resilience Growth Initiative. Support Water Department leadership to lead a team of water resources and coastal engineering professionals that delivers multi-disciplinary projects.
