We are seeking (1) Coordinator, Student Engagement to join the already awesome team, taking them to the next level of excellence! Here is what you will do: Georgia State University, Department of Student Wellness, is searching for an outstanding candidate to fill the role of Coordinator, Student Engagement - Panther's Pantry. This position is based at the Downtown Atlanta campus but does travel to each Perimeter Campus to serve and support all Georgia State Atlanta and Perimeter campuses (Newton, Decatur, Dunwoody, Alpharetta, and Clarkson). The Panther's Pantry Coordinator is responsible for leading and managing the daily operations, outreach, and strategic development of Georgia State University's Panther's Pantry-an essential resource providing food, hygiene products, and school supplies to students in short-term need. This role ensures equitable access to resources across Georgia State University's multiple campuses and plays a critical part in reducing food insecurity and supporting student well-being. The coordinator will supervise part-time staff and volunteers, manage inventory, develop programming, and cultivate partnerships to strengthen the Panthers' Pantry's impact. Responsibilities will include overseeing daily pantry operations at the Atlanta campus and coordinating pantry lockers on all campuses; receiving, stocking, and organizing food and hygiene product deliveries; maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming pantry environment; and ensuring compliance with food safety and handling procedures. Will recruit, train, and supervise volunteers and student assistants. Responsible for creating schedules and delegating responsibilities to ensure efficient operations. Track inventory and usage trends using inventory management systems. Collect and analyze service data to inform programming and reporting. Assist with grant applications, compliance, and outcome reports. Coordinate with internal departments, student organizations, and external partners to secure donations and co-sponsorships. Represent Panther's Pantry in meetings, events, and university committees. Provide student-centered service to pantry clients. Works closely with Dean of Students to provide resources and services to students in need and wraparound care. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in client interactions. Develop educational materials and outreach campaigns to increase awareness of the Panther's Pantry and related services. This position will require some weekend and evening hours. Other duties as assigned. Typical work schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5:15 p.m. Disclaimer : This job requisition provides a high-level job definition. Minimum Hiring Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in public health, Social Work, Higher Education, Nonprofit Management, or a related field one year of relevant experience Must have a valid driver's license and ability to drive to each of the Georgia State University Campuses. Preferred Hiring Qualifications: * Experience working in a college/university setting * Familiarity with food insecurity and student basic needs services * ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain upon hire * Valid driver's license for intercampus transportation of pantry items College/Business Unit
