What the day will look like

As a Senior Client Advocate in our Collection Team, you'll be at the heart of premium collection operations, ensuring smooth financial transactions between clients, reinsurers, and Aon. Your day will be varied, collaborative, and impactful, giving you the chance to build relationships and solve complex problems.

Typical responsibilities include:
  • Acting as the key liaison between clients and Aon for accounting and collection matters
  • Reconciling open balances, comparing Aon records with ceding company and reinsurer accounts
  • Working closely with Aon Broker Teams to resolve collection issues and support client needs
  • Generating and reviewing daily PPW/PPC Payment Term reports to ensure timely premium collection and payment
  • Confirming reinsurer payments are made on schedule to meet placement requirements
  • Creating and updating Excel collection reports using Aon Systems
  • Preparing client statements and verifying balances before sending for collection

Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel: Ability to generate, analyze, and present complex financial data and reports.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking: Able to interpret financial records, identify discrepancies, and propose effective solutions.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy: Thorough in reviewing reconciliations, client statements, and payment reports to ensure error-free results.
  • Problem-solving and negotiation skills: Skilled in resolving collection issues, facilitating agreements, and overcoming obstacles creatively. Know when escalate issues appropriately.
  • Organizational and time management abilities: Capable of prioritizing tasks, managing multiple deadlines, and maintaining focus in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $65000 to $80,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
