The team structures and markets quantitative investment products across equities, energy, and AI-linked commodities, offering institutional investors innovative solutions to access these markets. The team then trades exchange listed derivatives, such as commodity futures and options, to hedge the risk associated to these products.

What role will you play? Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibility Working within Commodities and Global Markets Group, responsible for hedging index swap books of Macquarie's Commodity Investor Products (CIP) and Quantitative Investment Strategies (QIS) desks by using exchange-listed commodity derivatives. Specific duties include profiling Macquarie's risk originating from OTC index swaps invested by Macquarie's institutional clients across different commodities and different maturities and hedging risk by using exchange-traded commodity futures and exchange-traded options on commodity futures; working closely with CIP Sales team, quoting prices for clients investing in swaps, index-linked notes, and options from QIS group; and working closely with CIP Structuring team, giving frequent feedback on positioning of Macquarie's proprietary indices and working on potential improvements to such indices.
Salary range for this position: $225,000 to $275,000/Year. Within this salary range the base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
