Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and organizedHR Coordinatorto support our Human Resources team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. This role is ideal for someone passionate about employee experience, engagement, and creating memorable workplace events. You'll play a key role in supporting HR operations while fostering a positive and inclusive culture across our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with day-to-day HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, and employee record management.
  • Coordinate and executeemployee engagement initiatives, including recognition programs, wellness activities, and team-building events.
  • Assist staff eventssuch as holiday parties, appreciation days, and milestone celebrations.
  • Support recruitment efforts by scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, and maintaining applicant tracking systems.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and hospitality industry standards.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and help resolve HR-related issues.
  • Assist with training logistics and tracking employee development programs.
  • Collaborate with department heads to promote a culture of inclusion, service excellence, and teamwork.
  • Ability to work in any area as needed.
Qualifications
  • Human Resources, Hospitality, or related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of HR experience, ideally in the hospitality, customer service industry.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic fast paced environment.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for employee engagement and event planning.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience coordinating HR functions forfood & beverage operations, including staffing, scheduling, and compliance.
  • Ability to thrive in afully functional, fast-paced, multitasking department, with flexibility to pivot and support various HR needs as they arise.
  • Proven success inplanning and executing employee events and engagement programsthat foster team spirit and enhance workplace culture.
  • Strong understanding ofhospitality labor laws, wage and hour compliance, and workplace standards.
  • Bilingual skillsare a plus, especially inSpanish, to support a diverse workforce and enhance communication across departments
