Position Title: Shift Coordinator
Wage: $19.00 - $22.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm Are your skills not being fully utilized? Reach your maximum potential by working with QPS! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Shift Coordinator at a company in Buffalo Grove, IL. This is a direct hire position for 1st shift. Apply today! Shift Coordinator Responsibilities: - Manage inventory including delivered supplies, materials, customer inventory and on-site manufactured material - Verify inventory quantity, condition, part number through cycle counting and auditing procedures - Replenish forwarding locations and set up new locations - Complete paperwork for receipts, destroys, cycle counts, moves and replenishments - Perform effective and efficient planning and scheduling of personnel and equipment - Meet cycle count targets and other performance metrics - Manages inventory control workflow to ensure timely and accurate performance of deliverables - Perform cycle counts as scheduled through supervisors, project management requests and low stock notifications - Organize and maintain warehouse and inventory areas for efficient material storage and handling - Operate forklifts and other necessary vehicles and equipment to properly handle materials being received, counted, verified, stocked and picked - Oversee performance of 5 to 10 employees - Maintain a safe work environment and ensure the maintenance and upkeep of the physical location Requirements for Shift Coordinator: - High School Diploma or GED - Previous inventory control experience preferred - Strong attention to detail - Comfortable working independently to achieve production expectations - Good organizational and communication skills - Computer experience (Google mail, Google sheets, Inventory systems) - Knowledge of WBS, IMS and Foundation is a plus - Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time - Able to move or lift materials up to 70 pounds gurnee@qpsemployment.com IND019 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
