The Opportunity with McKinstry We are seeking a Building Controls Operations Specialist to join our Florida Operations Center team as part of our growing ActiveOps division in Tampa, FL. McKinstry has a unique perspective on the life of a building, and our Technical Services suite of owner-direct offerings assists clients in making the best decisions to improve the efficiency, comfort, sustainability, and lifespan of their building. The Florida Operations Center provides solutions for building mechanical & automation systems and operations support. Our team focuses on optimizing the performance, efficiency, and longevity of systems within the built environment. We perform services such as occupant comfort & indoor air quality (IAQ) issue diagnosis and resolution, user interface (UI) graphics enhancement, systems engineering & standardization, integration, and technical support. As a Building Controls Operations Specialist, you will provide off-site troubleshooting support for building automation systems (BAS) performance issues. You may also train or direct Analysts while providing technical support and oversight to BAS contractors and client technicians for BAS-related workflow. In this role, you will leverage your knowledge of BAS networks to ensure remodeled systems are optimized to maximize data throughput and maintain stable architectures that support the demanding needs of healthcare, critical facilities, higher education, and K-12 environments. This position is based in Tampa, Florida. Key Responsibilities:

The pay range for this position is $30.55 - $45.13 per hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on market location. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
