    Work with Contract Lead to administer and monitor contract performance on government contractsProvide support for the negotiation and administration of agreements between the company/customers/subcontractors/vendors ensuring adherence to company policies and proceduresResponsible for reviewing standard contract solicitation terms, handling contract award confirmations, interpreting agreement terms and conditions and identifying potential issues, reviewing agreement amendments/modifications and incorporating changes under the advisement and direction of the Contracts LeadReview contractual documents to ensure adherence to company policy, government specifications and requirements, identify risks and areas of concern on contract terms and conditionsRespond to standard inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisionsAssist/support fulfillment of contract deliverables, billings and cash collectionsAssist in proposal preparation for customer requirementsPrepare standard price proposalsParticipate in TINA implementation/sweeps under Contract Lead directionMonitor contract performance and cost controls and ensure compliance with contract termsAssist in preparing routine teaming agreements, MOUs, MOAs, and domestic and international consultant/sales representative agreements and other contractual agreementsUnder direction, prepare contractual documents, including the preparation of contract terms and conditions, and assemble contract documentation packageParticipate in management review of proposals/contracts and in the conduct of program reviewsSupport, communicate, reinforce and defend DRS' mission, values and cultureMaintain effective internal and external customer relationsMay assist in the preparation of export license applicationsMay assist with subcontract negotiation and managementPerform special projects as requestedQualifications 
    Associate's degree in related discipline with a 2+ years of related experience. Bachelor's degree preferredKnowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS)Basic understanding of contract/purchase order terms and conditions and detailed knowledge of the government contracting process including sole source and competitive procurementsKnowledge of the terms and conditions appropriate for different contract types (FFP, CPFF, CPIF, T&M, IDIQ, etc.) and their proper useKnowledge of government intellectual property (IP)/ software and data rights clauses and IP marking guidelinesKnowledge of source selection/evaluation process including cost and price analysisKnowledge of requirements for administration of government propertyKnowledge of government contract administration duties including subcontract flow downs, change management, inspection, acceptance, payment, warranty, close-out and records retentionKnowledge and thorough understanding of proper drafting, negotiation and use of contracts, subcontracts, POs teaming and other forms of agreementsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsBasic understanding of contract/agreement briefings, negotiation and reviewBasic knowledge of monitoring contracts/subcontractsMembership in National Contract Management Association (NCMA) and CPCM certification desiredGeneral computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office programsTaking care of our people is a top priority at Leonardo DRS.
