The Opportunity Join our Security Engineering team as a Cyber Security Intern to improve product security and enhance developer experiences. You'll work closely with experienced security engineers and be part of a team that identifies security threats at Adobe scale. Together, we'll enable development teams to ship secure code. What You'll Do
- Under the guidance of a senior security engineer, participate in security reviews and vulnerability assessments, learning to identify and document security issues.
- Learn secure by default concepts and how to apply appropriate security controls to software.
- Write code within established programming guidelines, participate in code reviews, and implement feedback.
- Contribute to scripts to automate security tasks and improve processes.
- Work collaboratively within a fast-paced team, with clear, positive, and constructive communication.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn, ask questions, and seek feedback from peers and mentors.
- Uphold what we value and contribute positively to team culture.
- Additional responsibilities as needed based on specific role or team.
What You Need to Succeed
- Currently enrolled full time and pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineer, or equivalent degree in Cyber Security with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027.
- Ability to participate in a full time internship between May-September.
- Familiar with foundational security controls, like OWASP Top 10.
- Demonstrable programming experience in one of the following: Python, Java, C++, or similar.
- Strong technical background with analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets.
