| We are hiring an Electro-Mechanical Project Engineer. The Electro-Mechanical Project Engineering role has the responsibility to complete a broad range of moderately to complex projects. Projects include equipment procurement and installation; facility upgrades; process improvements; new automation; and projects involving electrical systems, PLC, HMI, and safety circuit design upgrades. Candidate will support multiple manufacturing facilities by participating in Transformation and Continuous Improvement initiatives. Further, this role will have interactions with the New Product Development (NPD) team, Commercial, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Quality, Regulatory, EH&S, Finance, and other functional & leadership Teams. Responsibilities 
 
 
 Project Management responsibilities for successful planning, preparation and executionVet through identified need and develop project scope and objectivesDevelop documents needed for approval of capital fundingDevelop & manage budget and schedule for projectsDirect and support project team through project risks and issuesCommunicate project status/metrics to stakeholders and senior leadershipTroubleshoot & provide support to other teams as necessaryApproximately 25-35% travel to other locations
 
 Desired Skills & Experience Technical 
 
 
 Manufacturing background with capital project experience is requiredFundamental knowledge of machine design and operating principlesFundamental knowledge of machine repair and troubleshooting practicesFundamental knowledge of applicable codes and standardsFundamental knowledge with applicable product and process design techniquesProficiency in ability to design, build and troubleshoot machine & safety control systems, PLC/HMI software and electrical systems is highly desiredProficiency in robotics application and programming is highly desired
