The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

The Director of Men's Basketball Strategy, Video & Analytics - works closely with the Head Coach and Support Staff in providing innovative ideas to enhance the growth of the Men's Basketball program both on and off the court. The incumbent will be tasked with implementing cutting-edge strategies in player development, game analytics, program culture and alumni engagement. The incumbent also provides video analysis, video content creation, and data analytics alongside the Director of Men's Basketball Operations.

Responsibilities



  • Prepares and recommends basketball analysis, suggestions and creative strategies.
  • Leads skill development sessions outside of practice.
  • Coordinates team building exercises to help enhance team culture.
  • Collaborates with social media content personnel to effectively promote program themes/narratives.
  • Engages with the Alumni Community.
  • Coordinates daily video software tasks such as recording practice, tracking stats, and clipping practice videos and videos of games to be shared with the coaching staff.
  • Manages gameday video responsibilities, including, but not limited to, sharing game film with the data team, confirming technology is operational, and sharing post-game video with coaches and relevant platforms.
  • Acts as main point of contact for sharing video with opposing teams.
  • Compiles playlists of video clips from relevant platforms for use by coaching staff.
  • Maintains current relationships with data and technology partners and seeks new possibilities.
  • Performs related duties & responsibilities as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 0 -2 years related experience.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience with the NCAA Men's Basketball Program.
  • Valid Driver's License.
