Overview

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive product strategies aligned with State Farm's business goals and market demands.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through the full product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and ongoing management.
  • Collaborate closely with actuarial, finance, legal, compliance, marketing, and distribution partners to ensure products are competitive, compliant, and profitable.
  • Drive innovation by identifying emerging trends and customer needs specific to your product area, including evolving regulatory landscapes.
  • Oversee pricing strategies and performance monitoring to optimize profitability and risk management.
  • Champion go-to-market initiatives and provide leadership support to sales and agent networks.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer focus.


Qualifications
  • Proven leadership experience in product line management within the insurance industry, specifically in one of these areas: Commercial Auto, Recreational Markets, or Re-underwriting.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with a track record of successful product innovation and lifecycle management.
  • Deep knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to your product area.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a customer-first mindset.
  • Bachelor's degree desired; advanced degree or professional certifications (CPCU, ARM, etc.) preferred.
  • Work Arrangement - Hybrid: Qualified candidates (in or near hub locations listed below) should plan to spend time working from home and some time working in the office as part of our hybrid work environment.

  • Hub Locations: Dunwoody, GA; Richardson, TX; Tempe, AZ; or Bloomington, IL

Our Benefits

Because work-life balance is a priority at State Farm, compensation is based on our standard 38:45-hour work week!

  • Potential starting salary range: $147,000 - $190,000
    • Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience
    • High end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience
  • Potential yearly incentive pay up to 30% of base salary
