DevSecOps Engineer Location: Dahlgren, Virginia  Job Status: Full Time Clearance: Top Secret Clearance  Astrion is seeking a highly motivated DevSecOps Engineer, with 6 to 8 years of experience, who is willing to push themselves to learn new skills to support our team in Dahlgren, Virginia. This is a Junior to Mid-Level technical position supporting the US Navy in Dahlgren, Virginia.  REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS 
 - An ACTIVE Top Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.
 - At least 5 years' experience supporting code deployments to a cloud environment
 - Experience with containerization technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker, etc.)
 - Must be proficient in Windows OS
 - Must have active Security+ certification
 
 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS  
 - BS in STEM field preferred but not required 
 - Experience working with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kubernetes (ELK) stacks
 - Advanced AWS certifications (e.g. DevOps Engineer Professional, Solutions Architect Professional)
 - Elasticsearch and Kibana certifications
 - Kubernetes Administrator certification
 - CompTIA CASP or CISSP certification
 - Knowledge of C#, Ruby, SQL
 - Proficiency in writing JavaScript
 - Experience with Jira or similar work management and software development tools (e.g, Azure DevOps, Confluence)
 - Experience with automated UI test tools (e.g., TestCafe Studio, Selenium, Cucumber etc.)
 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES 
 - Conduct daily system checks
 - Support code deployments to Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS)
 - Perform CI/CD pipeline patching, upgrades, and vulnerability scans, including Security Content 
 - Automation Protocol (SCAP) scans
 - Capture new processes and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
 - Manage GitLab groups
 - Implement Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
