 BID/JOB ANNOUNCEMENT Public Health Nutritionist I Department Of Public Health {MICAH} Number of Positions: 1 (Additional vacancies possible pending budget approval) Starting Salary: $53,616 This position is open to the public and all current City employees covered under the City's collective bargaining agreement with AMERICAN FEDERATION OF STATE, COUNTY, AND MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES (AFSCME) - BARGAINING UNIT 1, 3, 4 & 5. Under immediate supervision, performs entry-level professional nutrition assessment and counseling duties providing services to individuals, groups, and families in a public health center or clinic, and performs related duties as required ESSENTIAL DUTIES: 
 
 
 
 Additional duties may be required for this position LOCATION: Englewood 641 W 63rd St Chicago 60621 WORK SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics, Foods and Nutrition, or a directly related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience provided that the minimum education requirement is met. Licensure, Certification, or Other Qualifications: Must be a Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation within six months of hire NOTE: To be considered for this position you must provide information about your educational background and your work experience.  SELECTION REQUIREMENTS This position requires applicants to complete an interview which will include a written exercise and/or a skills assessment test as part of the interview. The interviewed candidate(s) possessing the qualifications best suited to fulfill the responsibilities of the position, based on the oral and written parts of the interview will be selected.
