 Executive Director, Counterparty Credit Risk – (job location is New York, NY; employer is Banco Santander, S.A.) - Run, maintain, test and improve counterparty credit risk (CCR) models by performing statistical analysis of large volumes of financial data such as historical data, including stress testing, back testing, and settlement risk analysis. Provide CCR coverage, including serving as daily contact and providing ongoing CCR oversight in all applicable Santander Group U.S. entities. Lead calibration, simulation, and pricing across all major asset classes, and ensure models meet internal and external requirements. Formalize testing protocols and processes, and ensure thorough testing, documentation and sign off for risk analytics deliverables to be implemented. Help set and monitor CCR limits. Lead the identification, documentation, mitigation and communication key risks and issues to stakeholders. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, or Computer Engineering, plus three years of experience in the position offered or as a Market Risk Analyst or Credit Risk Analyst for a global bank. All required experience must have included running, maintaining and improving risk models (stress testing, back testing and settlement risk) by performing statistical analysis of large volumes of financial data and historical market data using stochastic calculus and linear algebra; analyzing market risk using knowledge of derivatives and lending products; designing and implementing risk control framework to manage risks and comply with credit policies and procedures, regulations and laws including SA-CCR and Basel III; and working with and using SQL, Python, Java, Murex, Calypso, Excel and PowerPoint. This role entails hybrid work, with time split between working in our New York City office and flexibility to telecommute from another U.S. location. #LI-DNI Salary: $200,000-$250,000/year.
